Visit of Prof. David Wu

On 21 April 2026, Dr. David T. Wu from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA, visited Radboudumc following an invitation from Dr. Mani Diba. Dr. Wu is the director of advanced graduate program in periodontology and an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity at Harvard. He presented a seminar entitled "Driving Tissue Engineering Innovation from Discovery to Clinical Impact" at the Department of Dentistry, where he highlighted key biomaterials and biologics technologies for periodontal and craniofacial regeneration and their translational journeys from discovery to clinical adoption. The talk drew an enthusiastic audience of students, researchers, and clinicians from across the department. Dr. Wu also toured our lab and met with members of Diba lab and Regenerative Biomaterials to discuss shared research interests, translational opportunities, and prospects for future collaboration and joint grant initiatives. We look forward to continued exchange and future collaborative endeavors with Dr. Wu and his group.
