Diba Lab at ESB 2026 in Antwerp

On 07–11 September 2026, our group attended the 35th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) in Antwerp, Belgium. Farhad Sanaei (PhD Candidate) gave an oral presentation entitled "Engineering Granular Matrices to Develop Modular Bone-on-Chip Systems" and presented a poster on X-TRUDE, our framework for analyzing hydrogel extrusion. Ilze Donderwinkel (postdoc) presented a photocrosslinkable organic–inorganic colloidal hydrogel. Dr. Mani Diba organized and co-chaired the symposium "Biomaterials Designed from Particulate Building Blocks" with Prof. Laura De Laporte (DWI Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials), which opened with a keynote by Prof. Tatiana Segura (Duke University). He also met with fellow board members of the Netherlands Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (NBTE). We thank the organizers and all speakers for an inspiring week.
