Yannick Hajee Completes International Four Days Marches

Congratulations to Yannick Hajee, PhD candidate in our group, for successfully completing the 2025 International Four Days Marches in Nijmegen! Known locally as the “Vierdaagse”, this is the world’s oldest and largest multi-day walking challenge, bringing together over 40,000 participants from more than 70 nationalities. Yannick walked approximately 200 km over four consecutive days, joining a long-standing tradition of endurance and community. This year, he took on the challenge in support of ProVeg, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the transition to a plant-based food system for people, animals and the planet. We celebrate this personal milestone, which reflects mental strength, perseverance, and discipline.
