Our group co-hosted the hDMT Bone-on-Chip Meeting in Nijmegen on 14 December 2023. The Institute for Human Organ and Disease Model Technologies (hDMT) is a consortium consisting of the hDMT foundation and 17 partner organizations, including Radboudumc, which aims to develop in vitro models that mimic healthy and diseased human tissues based on Organ-on-Chip technology. Within the hDMT, the Bone-on-Chip working group's mission is to foster interactions, exchange knowledge, and cultivate collaborative opportunities among Dutch research groups engaged in bone-on-chip research. This meeting in Nijmegen marked the third gathering of its kind, featuring 1 pitch, 8 research presentations, and 2 lab tours showcasing Radboudumc's research facilities. As part of the program, Dr. Diba provided an update on our research activities at the Diba Lab in the field of bone-on-chip. The program included engaging discussions among participants and concluded with plans to schedule the next meeting at Eindhoven University of Technology.
